Everything you need to know about the Gunners’ clash with Eddie Howe’s side at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday
Arsenal are 16 games unbeaten in all competitions and head coach Unai Emery will be looking to extend that run when his side head to the south coast to face Bournemouth on Sunday.
The Gunners drew 1-1 with Wolves before the international break but were considerably below-par and will be desperate to pick up points ahead of a tricky December fixture list – which includes matches against Tottenham and Manchester United.
Emery’s side have conceded first in their last three Premier League games but have looked sublime up front, scoring 26 goals in 12 matches so far.
Danny Welbeck is ruled out with a suspected broken ankle following his shocking injury against Sporting CP , while Nacho Monreal is sidelined for two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Dinos Mavropanos faces further time out on the sidelines with a groin injury until December, with Laurent Koscielny back in training after his long-term achilles issue.
Arsenal have no suspended players for this match.
Emery is expected to stick with Sead Kolasinac at left-back following Monreal’s injury, with Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang both available despite being omitted from their respective national team squad’s over the international break.
Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira are expected to start in midfield and Henrikh Mkhitaryan could play in his favoured inside right role with Mesut Ozil supporting the in-form Lacazette upfront.
Joshua King has returned to training and will be assessed ahead of Sunday’s match. The Norway international has not played in over a month after suffering from an ankle injury.
Adam Smith is a long-term injury absentee after sustaining a knee injury in the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle at St James Park.
Eddie Howe’s side are four points behind fifth placed Arsenal following an impressive start to the campaign.
Kick-off is 1:30pm GMT (8:30am ET) on Sunday, and the game will be broadcast live on Sky Sports in the United Kingdom. It will be shown on NBCSN, Universo in the United States, and on various channels around the world.
