One of the Memorial Day weekend events that will be taking place in the Santa Clara, California area is the San Jose Earthquakes’ return to Levi’s Stadium for the second installment of their multi-year partnership on Sunday, May 24. The team’s previous Levi’s Stadium appearance was the stadium’s inaugural event, a 1-0 San Jose win over Seattle Sounders FC in front of 45,765 fans on August 2 of last year.

The best route to acquire Earthquakes tickets for their game at Levi’s Stadium is through the primary resource, the team directly. Tickets in the 300 and 400-levels are starting from $19, with 200-level seats starting from $22 and going as high as $69, and finally, 100-level seats starting from $29 and reaching as high as $125.

With the way Chris Wondolowski is playing for the Earthquakes, there is a high chance that the fans attending the game are in for an historic night. With his sixth goal in 2015 against the Columbus Crew SC last Saturday, Wondolowski is now one goal away from reaching 100 regular season MLS goals for his career. There have been eight players in the history of MLS who have achieved the feat and only one active player, Edson Buddle, who has exactly 100. Landon Donovan leads all-scorers with 144 career regular-season goals.

Against Columbus Crew SC, Wondolowski scored his second goal in as many games and moved to within one goal of the lead in the MLS Golden Boot standings. The Quakes are on a roll, as they haven’t lost in four consecutive contests. Before their aforementioned victory against Columbus, San Jose tied Colorado, defeated Houston and tied Real Salt Lake.

Orlando City SC, in the midst of their inaugural season, won their first home match in franchise history last Sunday. Their 4-0 victory against the LA Galaxy was the largest ever for an MLS expansion team against the defending champions from the previous season. Expansion teams have knocked off the MLS Cup holders just four times.

Both teams are inline to reach the playoffs, although it is still early in the MLS season. Orlando City SC (3-5-3) is currently in fifth in the Eastern Conference standings as the top-six teams from each conference reach the postseason. The Earthquakes (5-4-2) are in fourth in the Western Conference.
