Premier Li Keqiang called for deeper cooperation with Kazakhstan in key fields including energy and production capacity in a meeting with Kazakh Prime Minister Askar Mamin on Saturday.
Li met Mamin alongside the 18th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
He noted that the development of bilateral relations between the two countries has maintained good momentum, and there is still enormous untapped potential.
“Beijing stands ready to promote the sustainable development of bilateral cooperation in various areas, continue expanding bilateral trade volume and elevate bilateral relations,” he said.
Mamin said at that Sino-Kazakh cooperation has rapidly developed, with bilateral trade volume continuously on the rise.
“There are not any problems between the two countries, and Kazakhstan is willing to boost cooperation in various areas with China and enable more win-win outcomes from bilateral relations,” he said.
