In a rather bizarre incident that would have sounded more believable if it was a scene from a movie, 27 students were arrested and sent to jail in Tamil Nadu for allegedly trying to intimidate witnesses in a case by staring at them.
The incident happened on Tuesday in a court in Tiruvallur district of Tamil Nadu.

The five witnesses had come to the court to testify in a murder case that happened last year. While they were arriving at the court the group of 27 students gathered at the court premises and stared at the witnesses in an attempt to intimidate them. One of the witnesses alerted police about the students. And upon questioning they failed to give a valid reason for assembling on the court premises.
