BFMTV report this afternoon, as first indicated by Le Parisien earlier on, that Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Sergio Rico narrowly avoided a burglary after scaring away the would-be robber from his home.
The Spaniard had returned home after his team’s 5-0 win over Auxerre earlier in the afternoon, in which he was an unused substitute, deputising for the starter Gianluigi Donnarumma with Keylor Navas absent.
On his arrival, he found the burglar in his apartment near the Champs-Elysées. After coming face-to-face with him, the former Sevilla man then pushed the intruder back, with the latter then deciding to running away, leaving the spoils behind,
As a result, nothing was stolen from the goalkeeper, even if police did show up to Rico’s home and have opened an investigation for attempted burglary with breaking and entering.
