Further, AT&T announced a “wireline waiver” for AT&T residential and small business customers affected by the storm in eight California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara and Ventura.
“To help support our customers in California* recently impacted by storms, we are waiving the following charges for residential and business wireline orders placed February 4, 2024, through February 4, 2025,” AT&T said in the statement.
Patch reached out Wednesday to AT&T to ask about storm-related assistance for customers in Bay Area ZIP codes and counties. Sarah Rodriguez, a lead public relations manager for AT&T in Dallas, Texas, sent the following statement:
“We are regularly assessing the storms in California and there are several factors that are taken into consideration when we activate an offer, including our network’s performance, conversations with local officials and State of Emergency proclamations. If we make additional offers, we will continue to communicate those with our customers.”
