CHICAGO — Three people died, including a 14-year-old boy, resulting from a quadruple shooting Sunday evening in the Chatham neighborhood on the city’s South Side, Chicago police said.
Around 7:30 p.m, two armed men entered a residence in the 8000 block of South Vincennes where they opened fire on the people inside, according to a statement by police.
A 14-year-old boy was shot in the back and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 36-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to University of Chicago Medical Center where he later died. A 20-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was pronounced.

Another teen, 17, received a gunshot wound to the leg, and was also transported to University of Chicago hospital in fair condition.

Witnesses told police that one of the gunmen was known to the victims. Area Two detectives are investigating. No one is in custody.
