LAPD Vice Vehicle And Metro Bus Crash In Chatsworth

CHATSWORTH, CA — Two Los Angeles Police Department officers were injured when an undercover vice vehicle collided with a Metro bus in Chatsworth Wednesday night.

The crash involving Devonshire Division officers and an Orange line bus happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Canoga Avenue and Nordhoff Street, said Detective Meghan Aguilar of the Los Angeles Police Department.

The crash briefly shut down the intersection as paramedics responded to the scene, and authorities investigated the crash.

“The two officers inside the vehicle were transported to hospital with minor injuries,” Aguilar said.

No one inside the bus required transport to a hospital by paramedics, said Brian Humphrey, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman.
