WALNUT CREEK, CA — Patch reader Fran Guidry shared this photo titled “Three Trails In One.”
“This image is not spectacular in any way, but I was charmed by the sense of place and the connection of this humble path to much bigger endeavors,” Fran wrote in an email to Patch.
“It turns out that the Briones Mt. Diablo Regional Trail does triple duty, it’s also part of the American Discovery Trail system and the Mokelumne Coast to Crest Trail. Who knew this little stretch of asphalt could carry so many roles?”
