Speaking on RMC radio this evening, Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas provided an update on the future of club captain Nabil Fékir.
“His departure won’t happen for no matter what price… He is allowed to leave… He only has one year left on his contract. He has not got the same price as Tanguy (Ndombele), who has another 4 years of contract… We have discussions at the moment that are not concrete enough to bring them up. There are discussions with people who are not in a hurry to negotiate because they want to get a good deal. But we don’t need money. And we want to keep him if we don’t find a replacement for him.”
