Opening Of First Worcester Korean Fried Chicken Coming Soon: Owner

WORCESTER, MA — Worcester’s first Korean fried chicken restaurant will open in a few weeks downtown, according to its owner.

A Cluck & Crispy Chicken co-owner appeared before the Worcester License Commission Thursday, saying the 145 Front St. spot would likely open in either late August or early September. The commission unanimously granted the restaurant a common victualler license to operate.

In recent days, large menus have gone up in the window of the under-construction restaurant. The restaurant will serve buckets of chicken in either spicy or crispy versions, plus sandwiches including friend pork chops and fish, and full meals, according to the menu.
