Former Chelsea and Lyon man Florent Malouda has returned to Europe and a little bit closer to France after joining Luxembourg club side FC Differdange.
The 37-year-old had been playing in the Indian Premier League and the Egyptian Championship but now has come back to Europe in the twilight of his career. His last club was the Dehli Dynamos in Indian but was released by them in the summer of 2017, and will now join Differdange on a six-month-deal.
Malouda has had a storied career to date, winning the Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup with Chelsea, as well as four Ligue 1 titles with Lyon. The Frenchman has played 687 games over the course of his career, including 80 caps for France and four caps for French Guiana.
