Tama Sushi and Ramen was approved for three licenses at the board’s Sept. 18 meeting, clearing the way for opening preparations to begin. The cuisine was described as “Japanese fusion.”

Christopher Coleman, the attorney for Tama Sushi and Ramen, spoke at the meeting, sharing that the restaurant is set to contain a dining room and possibly a lounge-style bar once it opens.
