Speaking in a press conference, the President of the French Football Federation, Noël Le Graet, confirmed that Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema could have a future in the French national team.
“Benzema is available for selection, he is not suspended. If Didier [Deschamps] wants to take him, when he wants, he can… Benzema, there is no problem: if he continues to play well, one day he will come back. I have a lot of time for the boy firstly on a football level: he is the top French scorer on a European level, and he starts for Real Madrid, which is not necessarily an easy thing to achieve. The quality of the player is undoubted.”
