Tricolour Flies High In NYC As Bollywood Stars & Man Dressed As Gandhi Attend India Day Parade

World’s largest ‘India Day Parade’ was celebrated in New York on August 18 to celebrate the country’s cultural diversity. The parade was held at the city’s Madison Avenue and was organised by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA). 

It was attended by many Bollywood stars including Sunil Shetty, Gulshan Grover, Hina Khan, Shruti Haasan and many more. It also featured a man dressed as Mahatma Gandhi who was seen walking down the street with a wooden stick.

People were on the streets waving the national flag and chanting ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Jai Hind’.
