After obtaining a fresh medical report, the Jharkhand Police have brought back murder charges on all Eleven accused in the Tabrez Ansari lynching case.
On September 10, Jharkhand police dropped the murder charge against 11 accused in the mob lynching case of Ansari citing the medical report. However, on September 18, the charges were reinstated after a fresh medical report was obtained.

A video of Ansari being thrashed while tied to a pole and forced to chant “Jai Shree Ram” went viral on the internet. He was beaten up with rods and sticks over alleged theft that took place in June.
