14 men from Nizamabad, Telangana who were stranded in Iraq after they were trafficked there by an agent on the promise of high paying jobs have reunited with their families.
The men returned to Hyderabad on Wednesday ending their ordeal in Erbil, Iraq.
Gulf News, quoting one of the repartrialed men reported that they were taken to Iraq about five months ago, on fake documents.
However they were caught by Iraqi authorities while being transported from Erbil to Baghdad and were sent back.
