SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Good news for South Brunswick School District. The South Brunswick High School Marching Band will be performing during halftime of the NY Jets game this Friday.
The announcement was made by Superintendent Scott Feder during last week’s Board of Education meeting.
“Our marching band was invited by the New York Jets to play at halftime of the first Friday after Thanksgiving football game,” Feder told the community. The Jets will play Miami on Friday at 3 p.m. at the MetLife Stadium.

“It’s an honor for the incredible hard work of these students and the staff that works with those students and the families that support them. It is an amazing situation,” the Superintendent said.

“When the Super Bowl was held in MetLife Stadium, they also went and played. So, this is a long tradition of excellence in our marching band. The fact that the Jets were able to identify that is pretty amazing. And we’re thrilled to be able to have them go on Friday.”
The game will air on Amazon Prime Video nationally and on FOX 5 (locally). The game will also be available on the Prime Video Twitch channel and through the NFL mobile app via NFL+. No Amazon Prime membership is required to stream this game.
Fans can also listen to live game audio at home or on the go with NFL+.
