Joliet Drug Dealer Faces New Criminal Charges: Joliet Police

JOLIET, IL — A 63-year-old Joliet man pleaded not guilty on Friday upon receiving his notice to appear after Joliet police arrested him in connection with felony drug dealing charges. At Friday’s hearing at the Will County Courthouse, Andrew Fielder learned he is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

According to Fielder’s latest complaint, Joliet police say Fielder had between 1 and 15 grams of cocaine in his possession on Dec. 28. Fielder was also convicted of delivery of a controlled substance, here in Will County, in 2017. During his Dec. 28 arrest, Joliet police say Fielder had two .22 caliber bullets in his possession and that he unlawfully possessed cocaine.

Fielder can remain free while his felony case is pending. His next hearing is set for Feb 2 in Courtroom 202.
