L’Union report that a host of sides have made initial contact over the possible signing of Stade de Reims striker Boulaye Dia, who is currently represented by Frédéric Guerra.
Dia scored 7 goals in the 2019/20 campaign and has caught the eye of a number of clubs, despite President Jean-Pierre Caillot’s recent declaration that there is nothing concrete at the moment: “Clubs have made contact but we have not had anything concrete.”
Dia does not necessarily want to leave SDR this summer, but this extended transfer window could throw up some surprises.
Marseille view Dia as the dream back-up option to Dario Benedetto, but have not moved for him concretely yet as they are waiting to sell certain elements of the squad first.
Rennes have also made contact, in the event that Mbaye Niang departs.
Brighton have also shortlisted the player.
