Marseille boss André Villas-Boas: “I am waiting anxiously for the Premier League market to close.”

Speaking to journalists last night following a 1-0 friendly defeat against Napoli, Marseille manager André Villas-Boas discussed the rest of the upcoming window.

“I am waiting anxiously for the end of the English market, because that could change everything across Europe. Once that date has passed, we will have a pretty good idea of the squad for the season. I hope that there will not be any departures, but we have to wait for the end of the English market, this unique country can change everything.”

“We don’t have money! It is a shame, but it is our reality. So, everyone knows our troubles linked with FFP, I am not going to speak about them in every press conference… But in terms of incomings, there won’t be much to talk about, one or two maybe, I hope, I don’t know, I cannot say.”
