Montpellier and Lyon meet at the Stade de la Mosson on Friday evening with both sides needing the points for very different reasons. The hosts head into this match dangerously close to the relegation zone; they are just four points above 17th placed Gazelec Ajaccio and are in real danger of being dragged into the bottom three.

Lyon, meanwhile, are in the hunt for second place and with it, automatic qualification for the Champions League. They currently sit three points behind Monaco, but will temporarily leapfrog them in the standings if they were to claim all three points this evening.
The visitors are in excellent form, having won four of their last five league outings and they will also be boosted by the return of Nabil Fekir from long-term injury.
Earlier this season, Montpellier claimed a shock 4-2 victory over Lyon at the Stade de Gerland.
